There are these beautiful little dumping grounds that lie quaintly between the winding roads and heavy forests near the airport:) I adore them. In hopes to capture their rusty disheveled beauty I may or may not hop fences and dodge tires to find photographic serenity...within the mess. It's quite similar to life really....There are these pesky little messes that surround us physically or inhabit our very being. Within them may lie beauty and release but you have to go into the unknown to find them...or in this case trespass a bit:) And once your in, you see things in a new light....sure, there's a lot of dirt and shit to sort through and hop over, but oh is it a lovely chaotic paradise:) 

While we are on the edge of getting all deep and sentimental...let's talk about these here fancy pants. If you haven't realized how god darn important Helvetica is to our beloved busy and overpopulated planet...lemme remind that this font runs this world like a boss. 

It's like the Matrix.

It's everywhere....it's all around us...even in this very room. You can see it when you look out the window or when you turn on your television.can feel it when you go to work... when you go to church... when you pay your taxes. It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth. That you are a slave, Neo. a.k.a. all of us slaves to the man who come face to face with obnoxious street signs and all that jazz...

As a certified little typeface snob, I now take this shit uber seriously.....I kid you not. Really though...we watched the movie in one of my classes and I am officially obsessed with the font...it's just so perfect:) I don't use it often because I don't dare combine such perfection with my cray cray little projects...but if you are ever in a complete state of boredom watch the movie and you will most likely have the urge to get the pants.
